Virtual Assistant for a Cleaning Company in the US (Home Based Part Time)

A growing start-up cleaning company in the US is seeking a motivated and dedicated Virtual Assistant to join their team. The role will be home-based and part-time, offering flexible hours. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling phone calls, sales, and administrative tasks, ensuring seamless operations for the cleaning business as it continues to grow and expand.

Job Description

  • ​Respond to incoming calls professionally, addressing customer inquiries and scheduling cleaning appointments.
  • Return any missed calls or voicemails promptly, ensuring customers’ needs are met.
  • Send text message reminders to cleaning staff, including details about the location, type of cleaning, duration, and any other relevant information for the upcoming jobs.
  • Ensure cleaning staff take before-and-after photos of completed jobs for quality assurance and promotional purposes.
  • Handle payment processing, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and promptly.
  • Build prospecting lists to identify potential clients, including businesses, nightclubs, and banks that may require cleaning services.
  • Reach out to potential clients via cold calls to introduce the company’s services, follow up on leads, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Assist with the interview process for prospective cleaners, as needed, and help with hiring decisions.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments with clients, ensuring the sales process is completed and new cleaning services are booked.
  • Support other administrative tasks as needed

Must Haves

•Proven experience handling phone calls and cold calling, preferably in a sales or customer service capacity.
•Experience with lead generation and sales, with a strong ability to prospect new clients and close deals.
•Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant, with a focus on administrative tasks, scheduling, and communication management.
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Experience in the cleaning industry or related services is a plus, but not required.

Home Office Requirements
