Medical Virtual Assistant

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, specifically in Optometry

Strong knowledge of US insurance verification processes (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance)

Expertise in posting insurance payments and managing patient billing

Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices for optometry services

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with patients and insurance providers

Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and practice management software

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and payment reconciliation

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach

Previous experience working remotely or in a virtual assistant capacity is a plus
