As an Email Account Manager, you will oversee the development and execution of email and SMS marketing deliverables for our clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact between the client and our agency, ensuring that email strategies align with clients’ marketing goals, deliver measurable results, and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of e-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands, has digital agency experience, and is looking to take responsibility for client relationships and the quality of work we provide to brands that range from early-stage startups to thriving, large-scale companies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Project Management Experience: Coordinate with internal teams, including design, content, and development, to ensure timely delivery and high-quality execution of email deliverables. Manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Collaboration & Communication: The person in this role will work cross-functionally with our Strategy, Tech, and Creative Teams. Excellent communication is non-negotiable both internally in the organization and externally with clients. We are looking for someone with experience in a client-facing role and the ability to handle constructive conversations with clients.
- Knowledge of the Email Marketing Landscape: A strong understanding of email marketing platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools is a must, as well as knowledge of up-to-date trends and the latest innovations in the industry.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Focused on achieving measurable results and driving key performance indicators (KPIs) in the client relationship. Focus on understanding the client’s needs and relaying proper information to relevant stakeholders by maintaining quality standards.
- Initiative: Being proactive in introducing new ideas, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving innovation in the overall account management process.
Responsibilities
- Client Management: Serve as the main liaison between clients and our agency, maintaining strong relationships and understanding their email marketing needs and goals. Act as an advocate for the client, translating their needs into actionable direction for the internal teams.
- Content & Design Coordination: Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling and visually appealing email content and design that aligns with clients’ brand guidelines. Ensure all email content is optimized for deliverability, readability, and engagement.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting Development: Monitor key performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI and flag to strategist as needed. Prepare growth and audit reports for strategists to revise and present to the client.
- Organization & Project Planning: Maintain comprehensive project plans for each assigned client and oversee quality control at every step of the process to anticipate potential issues. Maintain timelines with the utmost accuracy.
