SOVA (School of Virtual Assistance) was founded with a vision: to provide individuals with the skills and information they need to succeed in the virtual assistant (VA) industry. We are committed to providing comprehensive online and onsite training courses across the Philippines, preparing our students for the most in-demand jobs of the future.

Rene Leandro Padilla

Founder and CEO

Leandro, the founder of SOVA, brings a wealth of experience to the table. He is an award-winning SEO practitioner and the recipient of the “Outstanding Digital Freelancer of the Year” in 2024 given by the City Government of Iligan. He is also the founder of PinoySEO.ph and MalachiSoft.com, a testament to his expertise in WordPress design and development (since 2010) and digital marketing agency ownership (since 2016).  Leandro’s background in SEO (since 2010) guarantees that SOVA’s curriculum stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends.

Kathy Padilla

Finance Officer

Kathy brings valuable experience from the food and beverage industry, having worked as a sales supervisor at the Waterfront Hotel Cebu before venturing into her successful bakery and restaurant in Iligan City called Pipie.Co. She is also the owner of KatVantage Outsourcing company in Cebu.

Karl Padilla

Technology & IT

Karl is our resident tech whiz. As the Head Web Developer at MalachiSoft.com and a WordPress and Shopify programmer since 2016, Karl ensures the smooth operation of SOVA’s online learning platform and IT infrastructure.

Hannah Gulfo

Enrollment/Account Administrator

Hannah ensures a seamless experience for our students, your point person for all admissions and student support inquiries.
